Getting ready for baby

I've noticed that while a baby doesn't come with manuals, most manuals that come with babies aren't really that helpful either. This Saturday Ima and I tried to put our carseat in the back with little success. It felt as if we were trying to complete a rubix cube rather than trying to tie down a hunk of plastic with some metal buckles. Anyway, with trying to put together cribs, figure out strollers, and buying the "special smelly bags," for our diaper genie I feel like I'm going to be doing a lot more of the learning than the teaching in these next few years. I guess that's the way it's suppossed to be.

P.S. When I finish these blogs with a little Eric life philosophy I feel like my good friend and mentor, Dr. Doogie Howser.

Eric,
When you were born, there weren't diaper genies (or disposable diapers). Just washed them out by hand. Strollers were K-Mart $16 specials. Somehow you made it to adulthood.

Thank your "Angel Mother".

I really enjoy your blog and can't wait to see pictures, videos of Isabel.

HEY It looks like some of the votes have been taken down!!! What's going on there? If anyone supports a democratic process...it should be the two of you!
